Those dealing with low vision have ways to make life a bit easier. Local resources such as Houston’s Lighthouse for the Blind and the University of Houston’s Low Vision Center are a couple of places to start. Check with your local Area Agency on Aging for resources as well as health care provider.  Contrast between light and dark; keeping walkways clear; removing scatter rugs; task lighting are just some of the ways to help those with low vision.
